The digital and conventional veterinarian radiology company, IDeVet Digital Veterinarian Imaging, offers its customers digital and conventional veterinarian imaging solutions. Based in Nîmes (Gard, France), we offer you safe, reliable and high-performance products. Thanks to remote maintenance, you benefit from a rapid, personalized follow-up.
IDeVet has been a pioneer in digital imaging since 2003, offering its customers a complete digital range. The advantages of this line include: enhanced quality, rapidity, easy setup, economical, since it is no longer necessary to develop the films, and environmentally friendly. The time saved for an exam varies between 30 and 40%.
Go digital and carry out more exams at a lower cost. Your installation will rapidly pay for itself and you will not regret your choice, as Dr Frédéric RAJAUT, a veterinary surgeon in Nîmes explains: “The digital choice appeared to be more and more essential at the beginning of 2009. The disappearance of the development of X-Ray films in dark rooms, which required the use of fixing and revealing agents, major pollutants, and the random variable regarding image quality was one of the most important criterions for us.
The IDeVet company, with more than 30 years of experience in human radiology, presented us with its DR-CCD system, and we purchased the IDeVet DR 9 Mega digital table in April 2009.
No more film development, no more cassette handling, a competent and efficient technical service, a very good value-for-money system, particularly operational, were the essential criterions that determined our choice.
Furthermore, the software is user-friendly: it integrates all the settings depending on the area that you want to X-ray and takes into account the size of the dog, thus enabling easy handling and rapid use of the digital table IDeVet DR.
IDeVet DR digital table, which comes with a silent floating table-top, turns out to be very useful and the image quality is exceptional, thanks to the 9 Million pixels flat panel detector.
In our opinion, IDeVet DR digital table seems to be one of the best digital acquisitions of the moment with an image quality comparable to that in human radiology."
However, if you only have a limited budget, you can choose conventional radiology that has a promising future. Indeed, this highly developed technique has been in use for many years. Screen and film technology is mastered extremely well. Finally, a conventional installation can be up to 3 times cheaper than a digital system (although operational costs are most expensive).
